Re:      Designation as Sector Coordinator for DEMS, responsibilities and

You are hereby designated as sector coordinator for DEMS in the prevention and control of SARS in DEMS and MDH.

 

As sector coordinator, you are responsible for:

  1. Formulating policies, procedures, and strategies in the DEMS towards prevention and control of SARS in DEMS and MDH that are in consonance with those formulated by the MDH Task Force SARS.
  2. Implementing the DEMS policies, procedures, and strategies approved by MDH Task Force SARS.
  3. Supervising, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of the anti-SARS policies, procedures, and strategies in DEMS. 

 

As sector coordinator, you are authorized to:

  1. Put the entire staff of DEMS under your command and control on SARS matters.
  2. Decide on any SARS problem-solving situation in DEMS that are not yet included in existing MDH Task Force SARS approved policies and procedures. The decision should be guided by existing general policies on SARS.
  3. Directly request other sectors in the hospital for assistance in the prevention and control of SARS in DEMS and MDH.

 

As sector coordinator on SARS at the DEMS, you report directly to the Chair of MDH Task Force SARS on all matters on SARS.

 

If you have a direct superior in your sector, you should, however, inform and update him of what is going with regards to SARS prevention and control.
