5. DISPOSITION

 

 

5.1. Non SARS

 

 

Patients without SARS will be directed to ER or OPD clinic for

                        further evaluation and management.

 

 

5.2. No Symptoms of SARS

 

 

Will be advised to stay home for 10 days, limit movement in public places, limit contact with household members, monitor temperature 2X a day and be vigilant about occurrence of symptoms of and once sign and symptoms occur report to National Epidemiology Center of DOH.

 

 

5.3. SARS Suspect and Undetermined SARS

                   (May or May not Have SARS)

 

 

SARS Suspects and those who may or may not have SARS will be referred and conducted to SARS referral hospital.

 

 

Patients will be informed by the interviewer about result of assessment and about hospital policy on Non Admission of SARS on referral and transfer to SARS hospital for their further work up and evaluation.

 

 

Patient is instructed to get and wear a surgical mask provided (inside box located near the intercom) is directed to the holding area advised to wear the mask while in the holding area and the entire period of the trip and until advised to change or remove by personnel of referral hospital.
